Self-Guided Walk & Lunch

The Unguided Gastrobotanical Walk offers the guests the opportunity to follow a natural 2.5 km trail at their own pace, where they explore plants and trees from around the world, Cretan herbs and learn about the unique climate and biodiversity of the area. After the walk, guests enjoy lunch at the Garden’s restaurant.

What’s included:

• Entrance ticket to the Botanical Garden of Crete
• Welcome with local herbal tea (Malotira - Sideritis Syriaca)
• Brief introduction to the history and vision of the Botanical Garden of Crete
• Lunch is based on local and seasonal vegetables, legumes, and meat, inspired by traditional Cretan cuisine. The dishes are placed at the center of the table, encouraging sharing and creating a warm, communal dining experience
