Guided Gastrobotanical Walk

Through a guided walk among plants and trees from around the world, guests discover the richness of global biodiversity and explore how plants shaped gastronomy, culture and philosophy of the Cretan diet. As they walk the path, it becomes a sensory journey. Here, where Mediterranean, tropical and alpine climates meet, the garden reminds them that we are all connected to the land and to our future.

What’s included:

  • Entrance ticket to the Botanical Garden of Crete
  • Welcome with malotira, local herbal tea (Sideritis Syriaca)
  • Brief introduction to the history and vision of the Botanical Gardens of Crete
  • Guided gastrobotanical walk (approx. 2.5 km)
  • English speaking host throughout the experience
